“Picture perfect for our family! My husband, 9-year-old son, and I took a tour in one of Jason’s stunningly gorgeous boats. It was so relaxing! They pulled it ashore so we did not get wet as we got on or off, plus they did all the rowing/steering. Our boat was configured with a double seat in the front, the guide in the middle, and me at the end. The details were lovely — from the magnetized cheese board and wine holder at my seat to the amazing charcuterie board and custom board for our kiddo. The ride took us down the river where we could really take in the scenery, the sky, and the sounds of the river. We saw little bits of wildlife, even including a beaver and several bald eagles. The best part though was the wonderful conversation of our guide, Anna. She took time to ask us (and our son!) thoughtful questions, she answered all of the questions we had, and really just let us enjoy the ride. We loved getting to know her and all about the boats (which she helped make). It was one of the highlights of our trip.”

“We learned about the sunset float down the Yellowstone River with Freestone Deluxe from Sage Lodge - and we’re so glad we did! The boat itself is a work of art, and sailing with Anna - who helps make them - was a delight! What great conversation! The level of the river was such that this was a gentle and relaxing float. The water and landscape views were beautiful, and we were treated to osprey and eagle sightings. Top it all off with wine/beer and a delicious charcuterie board, and you’ve got one outstanding experience.”

“Can’t beat the scenery and serenity! It is pretty hard to find a better option for taking in the beauty of this part of Montana. First of all, the boat itself is a work of art. The views and wildlife that we saw were just amazing, and to do it all from the peace and quiet of a drift boat was really special.
